Position lower handle on mower so cut-off flat is forward as shown and install 3/8-16 x 3/4" hex bolts and lock nuts. Install the upper handle onto the lower handle, with rope guide mounting hole to right side. Install the two (2) handle bolts through the handles and secure with the two (2) nuts. The handle can be assembled in "HIGH" or "LOW" position depending on how the lower handle is installed on the handle bracket pins. To install the lower handle on the handle mounting pins, squeeze the botton ends toward each other until the handle will slip onto the mounting pins. Install the upper handle onto the lower handle, with rope guide mounting hole to right side. Install the two (2) handle bolts through the handles and secure with the two (2) wing nuts. Position upstop bracket on left inside of upper handle and secure with hex washer head screw. Install the control bar above the up-stop bracket, into the hole located on the left side of upper handle, with the hole in flattened part of control bar on the right side. Push in on the right side of the control bar to allow the bar to fit into the formed hole in the upper handle. Align the tapered end of the plastic fitting with hole in the mounting bracket and push in until fitting snaps into place. Put the offset end of cable into the hole in the right side of brake yoke. Insert wire "Z" bend of cable into inner hole of speed lever on engine. [. . . ] If you do flood the engine wait a few minutes before attempting to start and DO NOT repeat priming steps.
